Ian Lucas was Labour Member of Parliament for Wrexham from 2001 to 2019, a Government Minister and a Member of Parliament’s Digital, Culture, Media and Sport Committee from 2015-19. Ian was a founding member of the International Grand Committee of Parliaments which investigated online interference in elections worldwide in 2018-19.

A lawyer by background, Ian was a prominent member of the DCMS Committee’s world-leading “Fake News” Inquiry, questioning senior Facebook and Cambridge Analytica executives, Government ministers, political campaigners and tech analysts on issues arising from Brexit and the election of Donald Trump.
